College can be pretty pricy when you have to pay for your own rent, books, and food. Some of you get off easy by leaching off your parents. Others find interesting ways to cut back on costs. For those who can’t survive without making some money, below are 10 ways you can make money while you’re in college.
Take Surveys
We all hate to take those annoying surveys for sweepstakes applications or the ones taken place on phone calls, but when it comes down to making easy money, you wouldn’t mind having to do it. Several websites offer you money to take surveys, which can be effortless work if you ask me. Here’s an example: Survey Club
Participate with On-Campus Psychology Studies
Psychology departments are always running experiments on-campus and are willing to pay top-dollar for your participation. Most of the experiments last no more than a couple of hours, yet they typically pay you more than a minimum wage job!
Donate Sperm or Eggs
Sperm and egg banks are always searching for healthy young men and women to donate their natural goodness. Most people are disgusted by the idea, but if you’re making money, you really can’t complain. On the positive side, you are helping couples conceive children when they biologically couldn’t.
Take an On-Campus Job
There are so many jobs available on a college campus. Look into working at the library, the gym, I.T. Work for the dorms or computer labs, become a R.A. (resident assistant), or work for the school newspaper. There are also plenty of school stores and food stores on campus that always need cashiers and clerks to work. The best part about an on-campus job is that you can go to work right after or before class and never have to travel too far to make money.
Freelance
If you have a talent or skill, why not use it to make some money? Projects like typing, writing, translating, researching, programming, designing, and website work are easy jobs you can take on at a distance. Even if you have a talent like performing magic or making balloon animals, you could easily make money doing kid’s parties.
Elance is a great site for this.
Baby-Sit
If you hate kids, suck it up. Becoming a baby-sitter is a great way to make money and balance school at the same time. Many baby-sitting jobs will allow you to do your homework or study while you watch over their child. Not many jobs will give you that freedom.
Tutor
It’s obvious that you have some intelligence to have made it to college. Why not use your knowledge to help the struggling high school or grade school students that really need it and make money while doing it. There are also the college students that could really use your help if you got an A in the class.

Sell Stuff Online
You probably have a lot of junk you don’t need that could be used by other people. There are also plenty of great deals to buy things (especially on Black Friday) and resell them for a higher price. Use sites like Craigslist and Ebay to sell your items and make some money.
Sell Your Class Notes
If you are studious enough to go to every lecture, why not offer to sell your notes to your classmates since you are already there. Many students who also attend class might want to still buy your notes if they are organized and are highly detailed. You might be able to pick up on something that they didn’t hear.
Take an Off-Campus Job
If all of the above doesn’t seem like your cup of tea, then go out and find an easy job that can help pay for the bills. Many college students serve tables at restaurants or become baristas. Employers understand that school is your priority and will be willing to work around your schedule.

I hear donating blood pays about $20 bucks. I had friends at Harvard do that.

I remember the days back when I was in college when I really had to find ways to earn money. I did a lot of odd jobs then like tutoring working part time as a waiter.
