Before there was a time when I would loathe checking my bank account, and this was because I was constantly spending more than my means. This was a problem because I started to overspend. So I’m going to try a new money-saving experiment. This one involves budgeting my meals, entertainment, and splurges heavily. Before I would make my own meals, but I also ate out quite a bit. I also went to the occasional movie with popcorn. So now I’m going to see how much I save by not eating out and not having entertainment-related expenses (as well as other expenses). Are you addicted to something? I used to be the same way. I had an addiction to spending the money I earned. I would earn the money and immediately go out and blow it all. This led me to have a bunch of problems. I had once overdrafted my bank account by $200 but luckily I got that mess sorted out. So how do you get over an addiction? |
